There are many myths and if it is not too strong a word total lies surrounding roulette, especially online.

Roulette is not Random

There are far too many people that believe that roulette can be predicted by what has happened. This is complete rubbish. Every spin of the roulette wheel is an independent event, a roulette wheel has no memory.

Many people seem to think that if there are four reds in a row then black is more likely, this is rubbish the odds are always the same regardless of previous spins.

Online Roulette is a little different. Naturally the software that the online casinos use has a "memory" because it has to distribute the numbers evenly and to do this it must know which numbers you have been given.

Roulette is easy money when played online

Anyone that is promising you easy money from playing roulette is just plain scamming you. You can force the zero

There are many people that play roulette online and believe that if they play normally and bet on the outside bets and also bet on zero they are increasing their odds because they are forcing the zero to land. This is also complete rubbish the casinos use a RNG (random number generator) to select which number will come up and what you are betting on is completely irrelevant as to the out come of a game, this leads me on to the next myth.

Online roulette is rigged

Everybody losses from time to time when they play roulette, it is one of those things and it is very easy for people to blame the online casino for being rigged.
